Hi, AHS Parents! We are so grateful for your interest in the PTO and for signing in up for our newsletter! We have lots of exciting things coming up in September.

Get to know the PTO – Are you intimidated by joining a new group that you don’t know? Don’t be! We are a group of parents who are interested in supporting the Staff and Students of our school. If that sounds like you, you have found your people! Please come meet us in the AHS Cafeteria on September 9th at 5:30! We look forward to connecting! We will have refreshments and door prizes too!

PTO Meeting – Once you’ve met us and realized we are actually pretty cool, please join us in the AHS Cafeteria on September 17th at 5:30pm for our first PTO meeting. This is where we discuss all of the important decisions and topics of the operations of the PTO. You can check out our agenda ahead of time on the website. Go ahead and park in the student parking area and come in through the cafeteria doors. If you need a map, shoot Brandi an email (treasurer@ahs-pto.org) and she will help you!

Pizza is back!! Students will get to enjoy pizza twice in September: 9/5 and 9/19 during their lunch. Please check out our website (Click me) to get signed up and to be sure your background check is in place (a new one is required every school year, not calendar year!).

No school! Please remember the students do not have school on September 2nd or September 27th.

Teacher Favorites: The PTO is working on a new initiative to help you get to know your teachers favorite things! Around birthdays, holidays, and end of year, you can reference these lists to help support or treat your teachers. Be on the lookout for further communication.
